WE ARE MAKING CHANGES TO OUR CME!
Beginning June 2013 ACP Medicine will be jointly sponsored by Advancing Knowledge in Healthcare (AKH) Inc, a company that has been accredited with commendation by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). We are excited about this new partnership that will enable us to continue to meet the ever-changing requirements of the ACCME.
Consequently, you are going to see enhancements in the way we present CME content and assess your knowledge and understanding. With this June issue, please note the following changes:
- Learning objectives and author disclosures are now presented before you read the chapters associated with CME from the CME portal.
- You are now required to complete the Evaluation form in order to obtain your certificate. The evaluation forms you return help us to assess your educational needs and determine any professional practice gaps that we need to close.
- You must also indicate the number of hours you spend to complete the CME activity, including reading the CME-associated chapters on the revised Evaluation form.
For this transition month (June 2013 only), you must answer at least 5 questions correctly in order to receive your certificate. This is a low threshold: There are 25 questions in the issue.
Starting July 1, 2013, you will need to achieve a passing grade of 70% to qualify for your CME credit. Please ensure that you review the answers and discussions provided with the self-assessment to guarantee a passing grade. You may take the self-assessments as often as you wish.
We also welcome your feedback. If you have any questions, please contact us at customercare@deckerip.com, or by telephone at 1-855-647-6511.
We appreciate your loyal support and look forward to satisfying your CME needs going forward.
